Dropping Funnel with 29/32 Plastic Stopper & PTFE Key Stopcock, Squibb, 2000 mL
An ungraduated, pear-shaped Squibb dropping (separatory) funnel of 2000 mL in borosilicate 3.3 glass, 21 inches tall upright and 6 inches across at its widest. A PTFE key stopcock controls flow precisely, and the interchangeable 29/32 stopper fits the 1.2-inch top opening. The stem is 2.5 inches long with a 12 mm outer and 9 mm inner diameter (0.38 inch). The clear glass shows the contents, and the stopcock lets liquids, including reagents, be added slowly drop by drop. It is autoclavable, highly durable chemically and withstands high temperatures and thermal shock; the glass has a strain point of 515 °C, an annealing point of 565 °C and a softening point of 820 °C. Built for professional labs, it also suits classrooms and the home.
