An ungraduated, pear-shaped Squibb dropping (separatory) funnel of 500 mL in borosilicate 3.3 glass, fitted with a 24/29 plastic stopper that is interchangeable and a PTFE key stopcock. The clear glass shows the contents, and the stopcock lets liquids, including reagents, be added slowly drop by drop. It can be autoclaved, has high chemical durability and withstands high temperatures and thermal shock: strain point 515 °C, annealing point 565 °C and softening point 820 °C. Built for professional labs, it also suits classrooms and the home.
