A Squibb-style dropping (separatory) funnel of 100 mL in borosilicate 3.3 glass with a glass key stopcock and an interchangeable plastic stopper in a 19/26 socket. It stands 10 inches tall with a 2.5-inch body, and its 2.5-inch stem has a 6 mm bore and 9 mm outer diameter. The clear glass shows the contents, and the stopcock lets liquids, including reagents, be added slowly drop by drop. It is autoclavable, highly durable chemically and withstands high temperatures and thermal shock; the glass has a strain point of 515 °C, an annealing point of 565 °C and a softening point of 820 °C. Built for professional labs, it also suits classrooms and the home.
