Dropping Funnel with 29/32 Plastic Stopper & PTFE Key Stopcock, Squibb, 1000 mL
An ungraduated, pear-shaped Squibb dropping (separatory) funnel of 1000 mL in borosilicate 3.3 glass with a PTFE key stopcock and an interchangeable plastic stopper in a 29/32 socket. It is about 15.5 inches long and 4.25 inches wide with a neck about 1.2 inches across. The clear glass shows the contents, and the stopcock lets liquids, including reagents, be added slowly drop by drop. It is autoclavable, highly durable chemically and withstands high temperatures and thermal shock; the glass has a strain point of 515 °C, an annealing point of 565 °C and a softening point of 820 °C. Built for professional labs, it also suits classrooms and the home.
