A wireless surface temperature sensor for measurements where low thermal mass or flexibility is needed. Its exposed thermistor responds extremely quickly; it is meant only for air and water, not other media. It works with compatible graphing and analysis software that offers live data sharing for demonstrations, bar graphs, histograms, FFTs and categorical plots, synchronised video replay, a library of more than 45 ready-made sample experiments and user-defined curve fits, suiting both classroom and remote learning. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps it ready for wireless use, its charge can be checked in the app, and it connects through a USB cable or wirelessly with nothing else to buy. Specifications: range −25 to 125 °C; withstands up to 150 °C without damage; response time 5 s from 25 to 100 °C in water; handle 6.8 x 2.25 x 1.3 cm; 1 m cable.
