Wireless Gas Pressure Sensor
A wireless gas pressure sensor for monitoring pressure in many experiments. The displayed units switch easily between kPa, mmHg, inHg, mbar, psi, atm and torr, and the included syringe, tubing and stoppers make set-ups such as Boyle's law quick. It works with compatible graphing and analysis software that offers live data sharing for demonstrations, bar graphs, histograms, FFTs and categorical plots, synchronised video replay, a library of more than 45 ready-made sample experiments and user-defined curve fits, suiting both classroom and remote learning. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps it ready for wireless use, its charge can be checked in the app, and it connects through a USB cable or wirelessly with nothing else to buy. Specifications: range 0–400 kPa; resolution 0.03 kPa; maximum sampling rate 50 samples/s; internal volume 0.8 mL; withstands up to 450 kPa without permanent damage. Included: two tapered valve connectors fitted into plastic tubing with Luer lock connectors and two white transpiration tubing clamps.
