Wireless Optical Dissolved Oxygen Probe
A wireless optical dissolved oxygen probe that also measures water temperature and atmospheric pressure. Using luminescence, it gives fast, accurate readings for biology, ecology and environmental science in the field or lab. The waterproof probe needs no calibration, filling solution, warm-up or stirring and can sample straight away. It works with compatible graphing and analysis software that offers live data sharing for demonstrations, bar graphs, histograms, FFTs and categorical plots, synchronised video replay, a library of more than 45 ready-made sample experiments and user-defined curve fits, suiting both classroom and remote learning. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps it ready for wireless use, its charge can be checked in the app, and it connects through a USB cable or wirelessly with nothing else to buy. Specifications: range 0–20 mg/L and 0–300%; accuracy ±0.2 mg/L below 10 mg/L and ±0.4 mg/L above; 90% of the final reading in 40 s; automatic temperature compensation 0–50 °C; automatic pressure compensation 228–1519 mmHg; no minimum sample flow.
