A wireless colorimeter that measures the absorbance or percent transmittance of a liquid sample. It suits experiments on Beer's law (absorbance against concentration) and kinetics (concentration over time) at four wavelengths. Calibration is simple: put in a cuvette filled with distilled water, then press the calibrate button. It works with compatible graphing and analysis software that offers live data sharing for demonstrations, bar graphs, histograms, FFTs and categorical plots, synchronised video replay, a library of more than 45 ready-made sample experiments and user-defined curve fits, suiting both classroom and remote learning. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps it ready for wireless use, its charge can be checked in the app, and it connects through a USB cable or wirelessly with nothing else to buy. Specifications: absorbance range 0–3; wavelengths 430, 470, 565 and 635 nm. Included: colorimeter, micro USB cable and 3.5 mL cuvettes.
