A small, lightweight wireless spirometer designed for human physiology classes. This multi-channel sensor reports air pressure, flow rate, volume and respiration rate, and its channels correct automatically for baseline drift, so tidal volume and other lung function measures are simple. With USB and wireless links, breathing patterns can be monitored on any compatible device. Users should not try to remove or sterilise its flow head, though it can be replaced to extend the sensor's life; a bacterial filter and mouthpiece must be used. It works with compatible graphing and analysis software that offers live data sharing for demonstrations, bar graphs, histograms, FFTs and categorical plots, synchronised video replay, a library of more than 45 ready-made sample experiments and user-defined curve fits, suiting both classroom and remote learning. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps it ready for wireless use, its charge can be checked in the app, and it connects through a USB cable or wirelessly with nothing else to buy.
