Wireless Current Probe
A wireless current probe giving live readings of the current flowing in a circuit. It is sensitive enough for the tiny currents induced when a magnet drops through a coil; with a voltage probe it supports Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits and RC and RLC circuit work. It works with compatible graphing and analysis software that offers live data sharing for demonstrations, bar graphs, histograms, FFTs and categorical plots, synchronised video replay, a library of more than 45 ready-made sample experiments and user-defined curve fits, suiting both classroom and remote learning. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps it ready for wireless use, its charge can be checked in the app, and it connects through a USB cable or wirelessly with nothing else to buy. Specifications: two ranges, ±1 A and a lower range; the highest safe current is 1.5 A on the first range and 0.5 A on the second; typical resolution 0.031 mA and 0.003 mA. Included: current probe and micro USB cable.
