Wireless 3-Axis Magnetic Field Sensor
A wireless 3-axis magnetic field sensor that determines how strong a magnetic field is, and which way it points, anywhere in space. It measures the field components along three perpendicular axes, or along just two or one chosen to suit the experiment. It works with compatible graphing and analysis software that offers live data sharing for demonstrations, bar graphs, histograms, FFTs and categorical plots, synchronised video replay, a library of more than 45 ready-made sample experiments and user-defined curve fits, suiting both classroom and remote learning. A long-life rechargeable battery keeps it ready for wireless use, its charge can be checked in the app, and it connects through a USB cable or wirelessly with nothing else to buy. Specifications: ranges ±5 mT and ±130 mT; operating temperature −40 to 85 °C; 19 cm long overall with a 12.2 cm wand narrowing from a 0.8 cm square section by the handle to a 0.7 cm square end, slim enough to go inside a solenoid; factory-calibrated, so no user calibration is needed.
