Ring Thrower, includes 2 Aluminum Rings
A ring thrower kit with the apparatus and two aluminium rings, each 2 inches across and 1 inch tall. The thrower is about 12.5 inches tall on a 6.25-inch base. With a ring resting over the coil, the field that changes when it is switched on induces a current in it that launches the ring into the air, demonstrating electromagnetism, eddy currents, Lenz's law and Faraday's law in class or at home. The coil can get warm; keep hands clear when switching on.
